TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE


LOCATION: Lewisville, Texas or Torrance, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Lead product developments from concept to commercialization.
  • Support product development opportunities by the development of detailed product roadmaps and target markets based on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate launch and discontinuation of products with internal teams (Sales, IT, Operations, R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, etc).
  • Determine and prioritize new products pipeline based on overall profitability and unit growth to company.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Hoya’s R&D group in the development of new products.
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts by channel.
  • Maintain product data sheets.
  • Develop and maintain product cost tables.
  • Perform other special projects as necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
  • 2-5 years of experience in the optical lens manufacturing/optical laboratory industry
  • Undergraduate Degree preferred
  • Previous product management experience preferred (or similar role)
  • High level of technical product knowledge
  • Excellent communication, administration, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong MS Excel skills
