Uh, don't you think I knew that? ;) Heck I knew it before I even read the page. Note the 'whitehouse.org'. I'm just having a little fun with my Republican friends on the Board!

Whatever you do just don't make the mistake of typing 'whitehouse.com' instead of whitehouse.gov!

    Now Steve,

As a Conservative I must say that's some funny stuff. The only downside is that the Democrats will probably latch onto that site and try to make people think it's real. They'll tell everyone that will listen that the Eeeeeeevil Republicans want to poison our children along with the air and water for personal gain, because after all that's what we Eeeeeevil Republicans do. We hate love. We hate joy. We love money :) Even though we live on the same planet, or at least the last time I checked we did, as everyone else. Which brings me to a question. If we want to poison the air and the water is it not the same air and water WE breathe and drink? Why would we want to poison ourselves and how would that be for our personal gain or to our benefit?

Also if we want to starve the elderly and make them have to choose between food or medicine does that mean that we were not born of a mother and father and therefore don't care about the elderly? Perhaps we were hatched or grown in test tubes. Honestly though, I've met my parents. They raised me from a pup and I even still see them almost everyday so I'm sure that I have family that is getting up in years. My grandmother is still alive as well as a host of other older relatives that I've met. They're real people even. Or does the word "elderly" not emcompass Republican or Conservative families, but only Liberal and Democrat family members? Dopey me. I thought that the term "elderly" meant all those above a certain age on fixed incomes, not "certain" people that meet only that criteria to substantiate the beliefs of a political party ;) What was I thinking? :)

Anyway, the page is great. I'm sending it over to my dad (I have one of those you know). He'll get a kick out of it. I think for a joke I'm gonna send it over to my brother too. He's Ultra Liberal and hates everything Conservative, including me I think. That's okay though because I'm a much bigger man than he and I still love him. Wait though. I thought according to Liberal doctorine it was suppose to be the other way around? Let me check...Yes, it does say that. Wow for a liberal my brother sure doesn't practice what he claims to preach...Oh wait. There's another piece of the doctorine here that says "All rules set forth by Liberals shall have effect on all except for Liberals." Does that mean that Liberals have, dare I say, TWO sets of rules? One set for themselves and another set for everyone else? Surely not! :)

Oh well, take care to all and to all a good day :)

I wonder if this site was around during the Clinton days. That man was a parodist's dream!

Clinton was to be too hard to parody. The real story was better than anything anyone could make up.

    It still is...

    If you liked that...

Oh Steve... if you like parody, you just have to visit www.theonion.com . I think one of the headlines on today's issue relates pretty well the kind of stuff you will find (Judge Orders God to Break up into Smaller Dieties).

Let me know what you think.

The Onion's a great site and one of the first of it's kind. It's been a while since I've been there though. Thanks for the reminder!

Ah, I missed that link. Thanks Jenny!

I have to say though that this is not one of the better parodies I've read. In fact, I don't quite get it!

Not quite ready yet - particularly for my ultra-liberal wife!

Our only solace is that Arizona is also the home of Representative and former Presidential candidate 'Mo' Udall!

    Marlena is a liberal???

    Steve,
I nearly fell off my chair! I had Mrs. Machol pegged as a G. Gordon Liddy conservative! (Heh, heh, I have to admit, she is one of the nicest ultra-liberals I have met).

Since the Presidential election is way off (and since our gubenatorial race looks to be a shoe-in for Jeb if Ms. Reno is really serious about running), who would you and the Mrs. like to see run for the Dems, Greens, or whoever in the next election (e.g., Patricia Ireland)? Might as well start preparing myself for the shock now!

Personally I wish Dr. Seuss was still alive. That's who I'd vote for. Heck, I might do it anyway! :D

    Hmmm, Dr. Suess eh?

    I do not like oligarchies-
I do not like them said Steve the Green!

Would you like them with a Bush?
I would not like them with a Bush!
Would you like them in a war?
Not with a Bush not with a war,
I do not like them Pete you bore!

You might like their lower taxes!
Not if they keep giving trees the axes!
I think if you would consider the facts...
Don't get me started Pete, you political hack!

Oh if you would just try them Steve,
    you might truly LIKE oligarchies!

    and then...
The feds would take a lower cut,
and regulators could all be shut up,
and industry could make more stuff,
and criminals would stay in cuffs!
Life would be wonderful all the time!
Oh won't you heed this pathetic rhyme?
    If you'd only vote GOP
It'd all be better- just you see!

:D You asked for it, Steve the Green!

    That's great Pete!

Too bad we don't have the jobs or the money to buy all that wonderful stuff being made in the overseas factories of the companies run by your Republican friends!

God gave them eyes but they still can't see. :)

    "That's great Pete!

Too bad we don't have the jobs or the money to buy all that wonderful stuff being made in the overseas factories of the companies run by your Republican friends!"

    But Steve the Green
The recession started back in March
which was before Bush was on the scene.

The jobless rate is a Clinton mess.
To blame the Republicans for such dastardly deeds
    Is a distress.

    To see the factories overseas
Getting the bulk of our economy
Makes me wonder who their friends would really be.

Don't forget kids. Check out the Steve The Green website at www.whosthefish.com. There's lots of fun and prizes if you take the quiz on page three. But not to worry, everyone will pass the quiz lest we hurt some ones self esteem :)

Take care big guy and remember it's all in fun.

    Darris C.
