    Spectera rep in US?

We are trying to change some of our billing info and need to talk to a rep from Spectera. The call center in India is useless because they can't figure it out and despite promising to have a rep call me in two business days it never happens and yes I have a tracking number. I called a large local billing center that deals with Spectera and they suggested "Psycho Calling" the help line which consists of calling back every five minutes with the same question until you get booted back across the ocean I guess (my GM engineer friend uses this method at GM for techinical difficulties). Does anyone know of a direct line to provider relations? And....trust me if I could somehow not take this disaster of an insurance plan I would not so please no commentary:finger:

    Contacting Spectera

You can give me a call at 952-492-2350. I have some phone numbers for Provider Relations that you can try.

Thanks Marilyn but I got through finally. She said she was from Detroit which was odd since she couldn't pronounce a certain street name the way a local would. Nevertheless I was promised a phone call tomorrow so we shall see.

Hard to believe people are currently taking specterrible or "optum" plans.

The call center is actually in Taiwan or something like that. I always thought it was India (never could suppress a laugh when "John" answered the phone), but when I talked to a CS rep about some shady filings with wallyworld, found out that they were from somewhere else. Also, if you ever want to talk to an american rep, when calling the IVR, select that you are talking about medicaid. That will send you to their call center in NY, I believe.

Solve two problems: get rid of UHC and Spectera. Its only when we start drop plans that employers will change insurance providers.

How long do you have until your contract expires? When that happens, just choose not to renew, problem solved. They will contact you shortly before that time, no need to wait on hold for unspecified amount of time.

That would be great except they don't let you know of renewals. If that was the case I would have already been notified...January!
