Exclamation Virus: "NEW PHOTOS FROM MY PARTY"

I just recieved three copies of this virus in my email this morning. I deleted all three but be on the lookout.
ANOTHER E-MAIL VIRUS making the rounds. If you receive anything that says "NEW PHOTOS FROM MY PARTY" Delete it at once! DO NOT OPEN ATTACHMENT.

I'm searching for patch to our antivirus as I'm typing.

    Thanks, Lloyd

    BELOW IS A SAMPLE.

W32.Myparty@mm is a mass-mailing email worm. It has the following characteristics: Subject: new photos from my party! Message: Hello!

My party... It was absolutely amazing! I have attached my web page with new photos! If you can please make color prints of my photos. Thanks!

    Attachment: www.myparty.yahoo.com

The worm sends email to all contacts in your Windows address book, and to email addresses that if finds in the Outlook Express Inboxes and folders.

In addition, the worm sends a message to the author so that the author can track the worm.

On NT/2000/XP systems, the worm drops a backdoor Trojan that allows a hacker to control your system. NAV will detect this as Backdoor.Myparty.

Finally, the file name of the worm is Access.<any extension>, it may launch your Web browser to http:/ /www.disney.com. Also Known As: <http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/refa.html> W32/Myparty@MM, WORM_MYPARTY.A, W32/MyParty-A, Win32.MyParty, I-Worm.Myparty Type: Trojan Horse <http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/refa.html>, Worm <http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/refa.html

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarves- The Real Story"

A friend sent this to me this evening.
If you receive a message labeled "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves- The Real Story," do not open it. My anti-virus program said that the attachment has a worm.
My sig is a Welsh proverb:
    • Bum gall unwaith-hynny oedd,
      llefain pan ym ganed.

I was wise once, when I was born
      I cried.
    Ian,

The Irish aren't the only Celts on this board. Of course, I am not even sure that the amount of Welsh I know would even qualify as grade school language; never mind high school language. ;)

I did not. But now that you bring it up, let's hear the gossip. ;) Let me guess; a Welshman called her the village's weakest link as a child and she has been a cold person ever since?

    Jo,
Here's three more that just started popping up today.
    W97M.comical@mm
    W97M.Nomad.a
    Backdoor.DSNX

So far of the three, Backdoor has the highest damage report.
