Independents Private Brand of contact lenses

Just wondered what the views were from USA about the Independents having their own unique brand of contact lenses? Is there a brand currently available there and if so from which manufacturer?
I ask out of curiosity and because of a global project that I am involved in. Your replies and views will be most appreciated..:cheers:

At every (US) Expo I prowl the corridors in search of the ultimate private label contact lens. The problem is, I'm not the OD, and even if I get the greatest deal of the century, on the best contact every made, the ODs fitting decisions are often guided by intense marketing.

It's like swimming upstream for me.

What do you have in mind?

I have been working on a portfolio of contact lenses for the last 4 years and have been successful in bringing this to full manufacturing status. The lenses are comperable to the best in the market currently and we even have a daily silicone hydragel (SiH). We have our own unique material which is very stable and also retains water well and extremely comfortable. I have been waiting for the FDA approval on this material which is due in the next 6/12 months and then it will become a reality for US Independents to have their own unique private label which I have registered as "Oxygen Lenses"
I am launching the lenses in the UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal and India in the new year as a private independents lens. The clinical tests which were done against the J&J lenses have proven our lenses to also be a world class lens in both comfort and performance. The next stage of our improved comfort will be a series of SiH lenses with HA release. This is currently being tested in r&d and will be finished by february and ready for production.
We also do nor Hydragel lenses in Dailies, bi-weekly, monthly, toric and colours which already have FDA approvals and as such I am very keen to set up with distributors in the US soon.
Please let me know if there may be any suitable parties who can provide an excellent service to the independents that I can talk to.
Any help provided by memebers here will be most appreciated

Time wasters, phone tanglers, profit wranglers, non-compliant Wingnuts, no reimbursement, headache producing, bottom line killing and general heartache and despair!
