Proclear multifocal Toric contacts

Would like to hear from anybody who has fit this lens! we have approx 60% success rate with spherical multifocals,

We're just about to fit our first, we ordered trials for both Proclear MF Toric and CVue MF Toric (Unilens) last week, so we should be getting in the trials next week. Once we fit them I'll send updates as we have them. I'm not at my office so I don't have the parameters of what we are fitting.

I have fit this lens on many occasions. The lens works really well with higher astigmats than average. CYL's above 2.00 work better. From my experience with this lens, there is a lot mechanics crammed into this lens. Simple low prescriptions ( ie -2.00 - 1.75 180 add +2.00) don't work as well because it seems as though the toricity and multifocal work against each other. Either the toricity will work really well with only a little benefit of the multifocal or vice versa. Because this lens is relatively new and most patients don't know that this exists, it is a great practice builder and a chance to show your professionalism and knowledge. It may take upto 2 fittings to get the right result.
One huge Tip;
make sure the patient wears the lens in the office as opposed to trying it at home. Ambiguous answers will make it hell for you to figure out any problems.
