Colts Lab use something called the Bayer abrasion test. I think they scrub the lens with a piece of steel wool. In my experience, Seiko has one of the better ones. They are definitely not all equal.Originally Posted by eyemaniac

Don't feed the Beast...
It will make a difference if you specify a non-tintable coating vs. a tintable coating. Non-tintable tends to be a more abrasion resistant.
