    Bio-fuel from corn waste--maybe not a good idea

    Hey, I know, it's an arcane sounding title for an OptiBoard thread, but it ties into both global warming and limited oil supplies--two topics that have already garnered much discussion on OptiBoard.

    Here's what Salon has to say about the evolving technology of turning corn stover (waste from growing corn as a food crop, including corn husks and corn cobs) into bio-fuel--and why it may not be such a good idea:
