    Eclipse Blocker...

Help, I can't remember! If I have a job calling for a "BLUE" block and all my blues are in use, which one do I sub? the flatter red ones or the steeper grey ones?

    Go Steep

Braheem is correct - you want to go to the next steeper block if the correct block is not available. You can tolerate having a bit more of the blocking material under the center of the lens, but you can't deal with too little. Too flat a block and the front of the lens will bottom out on it.
