Ipseo vs other top digital Progressives

Has anyone found that the varilux Ipseo is that much better than perhaps the Hoya iD or Seiko Supercede or Kodak Unique?

Is the Vision Print System a marked advantage?

    Thanks.

We do quit abit of freeform. I have found the Hoya ID and the ID Lifestyle seem to be the most comfortable to wear. I've tried the Esslior and the Zeiss, and the Shamir but never felt comfortable with the vision. The CD Lifestyle is what I'm wearing now and I like it. Its real clean. Cost wise to the Doctors and Opticians we sell them for alot less the any of the Essilor freeform with much more success.

Ipseo - design based on Head movement vs. Eye movement except that do they actually have 2 different designs based on these users? Example, do the head- movers get a softer design and do the eye-movers get a harder design?

"What now if I have a job where I have to move the head, but at home on my desk I move only the eyes................................????????????

Am I now going to purchase 2 pairs of lenses and frames for $ 5-600 each ?

If my boss has told me that he probably will have to let go half the staff in 2-3 weeks when I will be out of a job. If I do need new glasses now which one should I choose, or can I hang on to the money for a while longer."
Lets be frank...............all these lenses are doing is shoving the distortion areas a bit to the side or up or down, .................but they can not get rid of them. Just another version of presentation for a lot more money.

Is the consumer really going for that in tough times, or is the glorifying of a round cake into a square cake really convincing him or her? Or will the consumer choose the alternative of going on-line for a purchase?

Heck, why not forget the mumbo jumbo and go back to something simpler and easier affordable for the 30 million plus people that have to watch their cash while still needing to see.

No. I forget the number, but there are like thousands of designs.

Chris is partially correct in that they are just moving around distortion, but considering that people pick up distortion in different areas, isn't that a huge advantage? If you can move the distortion to the part of the lens where I do not use it, then that is definitely a benefit.

You're kidding me, right?? My patients and I prefer the basic generic types, just as good as Ipseo and they save us money.
