I am a major believer in this, why waste tax payer money housing him and then ultimately killing him, then wasting money either creamating or burying him. Put a bounty on his head and let him loose in a redneck state, it'll be like combining hunting and the lottery. That's what I like to call "yeah-haw" justice.

Because we're not all "yeah-haw"s. Some of us are civilized.

Jeremiah Wright and his comments where not warranted except as a showman or a preacher in a church cult of personality. They did not serve, in any way to advance peacefully any perceived constitutionally deprived rights. They where the ramblings of a hate monger purely for the sake of filling the dull listener with violent notions based on their perceived
oppression. Had he thrown in an occasional sermon in German he would have sounded like Hitler.

To single out the blacks and Indians as the having "the" struggle and ignore everybody else makes me nauseous. It is like this whole notion that only blacks can claim slavery and only Jews can claim a Holocaust, pure, utter, lazy, nonsense.

Absolutely not. Blacks, Indians, Irish, Jews, Italians...all fought for the freedom of our country. People spew rhetoric like Mr. Wright did to keep people enslaved. Sure, convince them they can't succeed and you own them.

No, I couldn't relate to the damning of my country.

Did Jim Crow laws effect Indians, Irish, Jews, or Italians? We they prohibited from voting? Did they have to sit in the back of the bus? Did they have segregated rest rooms or drinking fountains? Think for once.

There was legislative, cultural, forms of oppression and violence against nearly every ethnicity, nationality, and even religion at some point in the US History. For crying out loud, read a little bit. Catholics where institutionally prevented from holding public office and...forget it if you don't know, you simply don't care to know. Having a nice life in that bubble.

Gee, I'm sorry, I forgot that Bush put the Jim Crow law back into effect.

And yes, all the groups mentioned above were discriminated in one form or another. How about the Chinese out west? Yeah, I hear them crying for retribution all the time.

Are you really comparing "institutionally prevented from holding public office" with activities like lynching? Seriously?

Your Kidding Right

Are you seriously advancing the notion that only black people where lynched? And are you further advancing the claim that throughtout the history of man, it is the black mans claim of "King of the Wronged against"

No, and no.

White people who were African American "sympathisers" were also lynched.

I Don't Need No Stinking History

O.K. just the black people and the white people who where associated with the black people, just wanted to clarify that.

It appears that trouble started in 2007:

Numerous reports have begun to surface about the overall conduct of Hassan over the last several years. Some good examples of this can be seen by looking no further than an Army report that was conducted on Hasan when he was doing his residency at Walter Reed Medical Center in 2007. With the report claiming how he lacked professionalism and did not use good judgment. These warnings signs only become even more troublesome when you consider the facts that Hasan regularly missed work, failed important exams, was reprimanded for inappropriate religious discussions and the fact that he communicated with a Muslim cleric in Yemen only shows how no one was able to figure what was happening.
Bush and Cheney, you let us down (again)!

Only someone like you could put this on Bush. Do you really believe that the top administration had any idea about Major Hasson? I do think that it is part of the "politically correct" society that the left is so entrenched in that caused this. People in the Government were too afraid to speak up because he is a Muslim, and they might cause a scene and be labeled a "racist". A tad bit of PC here, and people paid the price. This would in fact happen whether he is muslim, black, Jewish, what ever, other than a white American. Too many FBI, CIA, military people apparently knew this guy was a loon and no one wanted to step up, why? Politically correct. I'm sure these reports all hit the Presidents desk.;)

His last evaluations would have come before being sent for deployment, and that is under the current President. Is it his fault also? I hardly think so. This man is a person who either snapped, or was on a mission, as of yet we don't know which. Stop blaming every crazed lunitic action on the conservatives.

Now spex, go back to your dinner with aunt Nancy and uncle Harry, screw up our healthcare, and then blame that on Conservatives also.

I was going to say that if you point the finger of culpability for the Fort Hood shootings at Bush and Cheney, you are also pointing it at Obama and Biden--but obxeyeguy said it first.

Let's break it down: Spexvet fumbles at his own forty.. obxeyeguy recovers.. breaks a tackle.. to the sidelines.. he-could-go-all-the-way!

No, this is political correctness:

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) is the official name used by the U.S. Government for the War in Afghanistan and Iraq, together with three smaller military actions, under the umbrella of the Global War on Terror (GWOT). The operation was originally called "Operation Infinite Justice", (often misquoted in news articles and political commentary as "Operation Ultimate Justice"[1]) but this phrase had previously been restricted to the description of God (among followers of several faiths), and it is believed to have been changed to avoid offense to Muslims.[2]

OK, so under Bush they changed the name from Operation Infinite Justice to avoid offending Muslims.. that was just common sense, not errant political correctness. Changing the name to Operation Enduring Freedom had no negative consequences.

We're getting off-track here folks..

I think that you're frustrated because you can't pin this Fort Hood debacle on Bush and Cheney without equally implicating Obama and Biden. I think that you're the one that's exhibiting a double standard in this case.

Maybe we could agree that the Bush/Cheney and Obama/Biden administrations are equally responsible for this horrendous screwup..?

Here it comes again.. try to hang onto it this time!
