Jeremiah Wright and his comments where not warranted except as a showman or a preacher in a church cult of personality. They did not serve, in any way to advance peacefully any perceived constitutionally deprived rights. They where the ramblings of a hate monger purely for the sake of filling the dull listener with violent notions based on their perceived
oppression. Had he thrown in an occasional sermon in German he would have sounded like Hitler.

To single out the blacks and Indians as the having "the" struggle and ignore everybody else makes me nauseous. It is like this whole notion that only blacks can claim slavery and only Jews can claim a Holocaust, pure, utter, lazy, nonsense.

Absolutely not. Blacks, Indians, Irish, Jews, Italians...all fought for the freedom of our country. People spew rhetoric like Mr. Wright did to keep people enslaved. Sure, convince them they can't succeed and you own them.

Did Jim Crow laws effect Indians, Irish, Jews, or Italians? We they prohibited from voting? Did they have to sit in the back of the bus? Did they have segregated rest rooms or drinking fountains? Think for once.

There was legislative, cultural, forms of oppression and violence against nearly every ethnicity, nationality, and even religion at some point in the US History. For crying out loud, read a little bit. Catholics where institutionally prevented from holding public office and...forget it if you don't know, you simply don't care to know. Having a nice life in that bubble.

And yes, all the groups mentioned above were discriminated in one form or another. How about the Chinese out west? Yeah, I hear them crying for retribution all the time.

Only someone like you could put this on Bush. Do you really believe that the top administration had any idea about Major Hasson? I do think that it is part of the "politically correct" society that the left is so entrenched in that caused this. This would in fact happen whether he is muslim, black, Jewish, what ever, other than a white American. His last evaluations would have come before being sent for deployment, and that is under the current President. Is it his fault also? I hardly think so. This man is a person who either snapped, or was on a mission, as of yet we don't know which. Stop blaming every crazed lunitic action on the conservatives.

Now spex, go back to your dinner with aunt Nancy and uncle Harry, screw up our healthcare, and then blame that on Conservatives also.

OK, so under Bush they changed the name from Operation Infinite Justice to avoid offending Muslims.. that was just common sense, not errant political correctness. Changing the name to Operation Enduring Freedom had no negative consequences.

I think that you're frustrated because you can't pin this Fort Hood debacle on Bush and Cheney without equally implicating Obama and Biden. I think that you're the one that's exhibiting a double standard in this case.

Maybe we could agree that the Bush/Cheney and Obama/Biden administrations are equally responsible for this horrendous screwup..?
