    Confused problems with acronyms

Since I subscribe Optiboard I have been visiting the forum, from time to time, picking useful tips, happy to have the chance to have a wider point of view ( I live and work in Italy).
My only little complaint regards the large use of acronyms ( RD, SV, FT and so on). Where can I look for their meaning?

RD round seg, SV single vision, FT Flat Top D seg Bifocal. The problem might be in the translation? I thought this a strange post at first than realized Single Vision in another language may not be SV?

To give a few more that I use regularly that you didn't list

ST=Straight Top Bifocal (Alternate usage of FT)
STT or FTT=Straight Top Trifocal or Flat Top Trifocal, also known as a lined bifocal
ARC or A/R or AR= Anti-Reflective (also called Non-Glare) coating
SRC or SCR= Scratch Resistant Coating
UV or UVC= Ultra-Violet light blocking Coating (Yes UV is actually the acronym for Ultra Violet Light, but this is what we use in our office)

Anyone got anymore that I missed so that we can make a master list in a thread that we can refer to in the future.

PAL - Progressive Addition Lens or "Progressives"

Seg - Segment or Bifocal Height

VA or BVA - Visual Acuity or Best Visual Acuity

I know there are more, but it's Friday afternoon and my brain is fried!
A lack of planning on your part DOES NOT constitute an emergency on mine!
