Local News good and bad

We have been named the Fattest City in America by someone or other so British chef Jamie Oliver is currently filming a reality TV series where he tries to introduce better eating habits and foods to us.

We also have been named the 5th worst Ugly Men city.

No word on the Ugly Women cities.

On the good side, Local high school girl wins Gold Medal in Vault at the recent World Gymnastics Championships, looking good for her to be on our Olympic Team.

OTOH, woman who said WV family beat, raped, sodomized and assaulted her, forced her to drink urine and eat feces. Gets five members of family convicted. Now says she made it all up. Forces film company to scrap screenplay for Wrong Turn 4.

see, here's the thing, no one cares if we call men ugly. but to call a woman ugly is a horrible crime. because i think somewhere along the line it was decided that women had some sort of equality ;) but we still had to be chivalrus (or however you spell it anyway)

on another somewhat related note, i'm pretty sure somewhere along the line i was told that my sole purpose in life was to open doors and hold back chairs for women. do I get my chilvaly badge for my scout honors now?

only because DC isn't a state. I'm pretty sure we would win here if we were.
