    Drivewear Progressive Question

I had a patient come in today who wants the Drivewear lenses, which is no problem, I can get them for him. I haven't dispensed drivewear yet, but I know we can get it through our lab.
However, hes in a progressive and if im not mistaken, Drivewear is only available in the Image progressive... which I have never used before. Whats this lens like? Any good? Any feedback would be appreicated!

    Here's their information:

    http://www.drivewearlens.com/technical.php?subpage=3

I wear the drivewear Image in an 8 base for my Oakley Crosshairs. Even with compensated prism, it's kind of a hard view, especially given my other lenses are Zeiss individual, GT2, and Physio 360. Ouch.

You might Try Kodak unique in drivewear. I am looking at some of their propaganda adn it appears taht they can make in Drivewear plastic.

Try this link for Kodak Unique: http://www.signetarmorlite.com/profe...sp?page_id=172

I haven't tried the Unique yet, so no exp. there. good luck.

    You are welcome!

I suggest a few sites for progressive info, parameters, how made, id marks, etc. These sites are operated by fellow Optiboarders!

I think the DriveWear information may not be listed. It is my understanding that the info is being worked on and hopefully will be available soon.

Wave Love my Drivewear Image lenses.

I got a pair when they first came out and where only available in the Image . I don't prescribe image much, but no less than an 18mm fitting hieght, I like mine esp. in rainy overcast day's, we don't get many snow or sleet day's here in North Texas, but when we do I still love it. Im speaking of inside the car. It's my go to glasses for driving. Im glad to hear they are avial. in other lens designs now, but the image is nice. Thanks

    Ginny:)

I have a pair of Drivewear in Image progressive. It makes a fine sunglasses, the distance area is very good. I love my Drivewear, I wear them much more then my Maui Jims. I like my Maui Jims for the very brightest days but I like how my Drivewear adjusts and they work well in overcast to bright days. The color is very comfortable to wear.

I wear the Drivewear in the Autograph II lens. Works better than the Image, especially in a wrap frame. Just be sure to have the backside A/R applied.

Any more current comprehensive progressive lens for Drivewear availability? I have an Image non-adapt that I'd like to keep in Drivewear.

All of the Shamir Free Form (Autograph II, Spectrum, Element) can be done in the Drivewear, Poly and CR-39.
