I tried this last year and was told that they prefer to deal with wholesale distributors.

Besides, the price they quoted wasn't much more than what I get from my lab for the same lenses...and I don't have to stock 1000 lenses.

Interstate Optical (OH) sells the progressives. As far as SV, I think Phoenix (HOYA) is a better material.
