    Probably an entry level question but here goes...

    What exactly is meant by a "fixed design"?

    I've seen that mentioned a few times on here and am unsure of its meaning. Thanks for any feedback...

    I assume that you are questioning the fixed design vs. the variable of a Shamir Auto II.
