Why don't you read the the 2 letters a total of maybe 10 pages each of the lleters to the WA Governor to do something about the vertical integration in the optical trade, and then do something about it before it is too late.

and this is exactly how it works with DC Medicaid
although we can get certain add-ons if we can show a reasonable need, (like poly for mono-vision and children, or slaboff, that sort of thing)
you don't make a ton of money with it, BUT you do alot of buisness, and a lot of people decide to upgrade the frame and whatnot.

Rendezvous is where so called *Mountain Men* of the fur trade era, would gather to stock up on provisions, gun powder, whiskey, get frisky with the ladies, sell their fur, and raise all sorts of hell. Wingnuts like me try to carry on the shenanigans and fun.
We go to Rendezvous and compete with knife and tomahawk throwing and shooting competitions. We all make a *prize* to be given away to the winners{everybody leaves with a prize}. We raise all sorts of hell, laugh, lie, BS, hunt, fish and just enjoy life to the fullest for a few days in the spring to coincide with the spring turkey hunting season. You can see a few of my prizes over on the opti-crafters social group.

In the US, the health insurance industry last year was 9th most profitable with $247B in revenue made within just the top 13 companies. The health CARE industry was 40th.
