Was this a question for other optical professionals or a text or tweet to someone else?

I don't like Genesis unless it's been improved, but Creation is better than Physio for int and near and Autograph 2 ranks among the best, period. Piccolo is a good short corridor.

I would be careful using a Piccolo for an Ellipse wearer too about 5-6 years ago (the last time we had a Shamir rep in our office) we tried to switch 5 of our patients who were in the Ellipse (since we were told the intermediate was so much wider and so much better) of those we had to switch 3 people back to the Ellipse.

You have been told wrong. Piccolo does not have a wider intermedia, but a wider reading area. Anyway today Piccolo is been made the same way as Creation, with a glass mold made with Freeform technology, so you cant compare the old Piccolo with the new one.

We have never exchanged the new Piccolo lens as long you fit it prober and in minimum 16 mm. You can change from Elipse without any issues at all, but must take a little bit more care with the Summit CD because this is a very soft design. The advantage from shifting from CD to Piccolo is wider reading area, but smaller intermedia, and you must tell your client this. If they know this benefit, they will prefer Piccolo. CD is not an bad lens, but you must know the differences to Piccolo before you recommend a different lens design to your client. If you buy a new fast car, it´s not enough to know the speed from 0-60, if you get dizzy in the corners. :D
