    Transitions in High Index Plastics

Is there a particular reason that no one has tried to put Transitions in any index above a 1.67?

I just went to the Nikon website and they didn't have anything about Transitions 1.74? Did you mean Seiko?

Probably has a lot to do with demand. 1.74 is still in low use.

Probably on the Canadian website. Nikon Canada is kind of different from Nikon US.

This is a quote from the Nikon website link posted above:

Nikon lenses are also available with Transitions which provide visual comfort by automatically adjusting to changing light conditions. This helps to reduce glare and eye fatigue. Eye health is preserved by these lenses blocking 100% of UV rays. This is available in 1.50, 1.60, and 1.67 material.

    Nothing about Trans 1.74.
