inversely one of our labs just went to a one year no fault warranty with no price increase. another lab just added another 30 days to Dr. remake 60 to 90 and made it no cost instead of 50%. with no increase in prices. Why...... because they could. Because they know there will be little increase in warranty issues however they gain a big increase in faith.

For our office total remakes- lab error, Dr. Redo, and warranty is around 7.5% let's see make money 92.5% of the jobs, break even or lose a little 7.5% and look better to your clients.

Why did American car companies increase their warranties? to increase faith and because they know the percentages are in their favor. is a Hyundai twice as reliable as a Toyota ? their power train warranty is twice as long. No, but the increase in sales because of the increased faith outweighs the increase in warranty issues beyond the first five years.

Are you passing the longer warranty periods through to your patients?
