Surface has an anti-fog layer.....with the xception of the mark covered up during the application,..............or vice versa

the AR is hydrophobic. I assume they put the design on the lens before the hydrophobic process, so in the end, that part (the design) is not hydrophobic. That is what makes it stand out.

As the layer allows The Vapour to deposit on the lens it dont deserve to be called as Antifog Layer. An Anti fog layer should keep the visibility.
What is the Chemical name that makes it ?

    Fog Mark

The process is very simple. Once the hydrophobic is applied a mask that has the logo or manufacturer mark is placed over the lens to protect the rest of the hydrophobic coating. The lens is then subjected to a small plasma (corona discharge) that will remove the hydrophobic in the area exposed. This then creates a difference in surface tension on the lens surface which then causes the logo to appear
