Have you ever been to the Marchon party? We went once.

Wall to wall people, mind numbing volume, and drunk reps trying to throw each other into the pool. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I can think of better places to meet up (if someone wanted to...)

You forgot to mention the time the OD (without provocation) got natural in the pool... at least she was in great shape. Thanks for the memories... now I am looking forward to going more than ever.

Yeah, the bar outside of Harrah's. They've got the misting spray, live bands, and you can still play blackjack while you're hanging out.

Or the balcony of the Venetian, or any number of great places where you can actually converse with one another.

Venetian sounds good, it's close to the convention site.

I also agree with Johns, the marchon party is a nightmare, thousands of sweating bodies, loud crappy music and the food is horrid. Guess I've graduated to the old farts club! :)

I don't know where the "Balcony" at the Ventian is... Since they connected it to the Palazzo I can't find a thing in there without GPS... its that big.

We could meet on either Thursday or Friday night? Is there seating? I can bring an ice chest full of 40 ouncers and brown paper bags.

I think we are up to 8 people.
