    Seg Templates...

Can anyone direct me to a company that may sell stick-on segment templates to use as a training aid in fitting seg heights? We have an old example here which has a "sheet" containing one each of ft28, 7x28, ft35, and a general progressive shaped like an hour glass. They are peel and stick type labels. Please let me know, Chris.

Try tracing a quarter on some clear vinyl film, then cut in half- works great.

OK, I'm gonna throw this out there...not sure if it will help you or not, but here it goes....

I use tape. I mark where the seg would be, then cut a small piece of scotch tape and put that on each lens, to give the pt an idea of where the line will be. That has helped me tremendously, when I have a 1st time BF wearer, or someone who was unhappy with the position of their BF in their original specs.

I think I take issue with all of the BF dissatisfaction.

Purchase this book (either new or make sure it has the accompanying centrations skills set): http://www.amazon.com/Essentials-Oph...reative=380789

Then scan and print the centration skills set transparency onto inkjet printable static cling media: http://www.papilio.com/inkjet%20stat...m%20media.html

Works like a charm. But you need the book as it has templates for SV, FT25 Tri, Rnd22, PAL, FT28, E/D Tri, FT25, Ultex, Franklin, Panoptik, Curve Top, Basic Background Grid, Diagonal Line Centering, and Vertical Line Centereing diagrams.

I'll second the tape idea. Works great, especially for the lined segs
