A lot of people are starting to go vegetarian. You take girls my age, and there are tonnes of them. Have one person who I know who lost 20lbs in two months by doing it. Me, I like meat. But there are some healthier alternatives with some soy products (if I drink milk, it is soy and there is one brand that actually tastes good).
Vegan is pretty dangerous. Some people have gotten really sick from being vegan.
Note to self: I've got to try this "Vegan" thing.........

untrue my friend. Just like when you eat meat you need to eat balanced meals, the same holds true with not eating meat. It's quite easy to stay healthy without meat - I know - I've done it. I grew up vegi., and only started eating meat recently, in fact most of my friends and family don't eat meat. And I assure you, we aren't wasting away and/or getting sick, if anything I've become less healthy since starting to eat meat.

and I mean more vegan than vegetarian, where you eat nothing that comes from an animal. So no eggs or dairy.
I gotcha, I actually didn't do milk either (still don't really) eggs... well I like me a good omlet..full of vegies! :)
I'm just forever hearing people say that it's not healthy to not eat meat, when from everything I've seen and learned it's healthier to be vegi. Pet peave of mine - I can't help it.:hammer:
