Hi Yeap
Older generations of Transitions (pre Transitions III, before 1988) would hold some activated tint if placed in a case...but even then, by over night the lenses were in their clear state. A good incandescent light or a few minutes of wear (body heat) would make them clear very quickly in doors.
Make sure the lenses are Transitions brand lenses. Dont let the labs or ecps refer to all photochromic lenses as Transitions. By far and large, most complaints on photochromic lenses are found not to be Transitions lens products. It is much worse outside of North America. Be vigilant!
