I am going to be taking the CPOA test in Aug. At our office, I only preform the duties of a tech... no optican tasks... can anyone give me advice about what portions of the test I really need to pay attention to... what was your best studying material. Thanks.. Sonya
Guess they wanted to do what the OMD's have done. Got tired of being accused of hiring the miniskirt off the street and want to eventually have techs do everthing except the 5 min. overview after techs do all the exam and refraction. It's going to benefit the optometrists, maybe eventually cut down the chains and the independent optician has allready been so chopped up they are insignificant. Will allow OD's more time to be optometric physicians.
