Just a heads up, the state board came to audit 2 Walmart Opticals. Apparently the new thing is making sure that only LICENSED opticians are the ones verifying contact lens orders when they arrive from CL companies and dispensing the contact lenses to patients. Also, make sure you are initialing and dating EVERYTHING!!! Only licensed opticians should be entering any frame or Rx information also. No one seems to know if this was because complaints were filed or if the state just needs to raise more money (thanks to the "budget" that was just passed).
