Will you do me a favor?

Friends of mine, James Ponsoldt (director, "Off the Black", starring Nick Nolte) and Jason Miller (Eikon Productions), helped produce a music video for some other dear friends who play in a band, Hope For Agoldensummer.

I hadn't seen the video until this morning, though I've heard them play the song for at least two years. It really touched me, given the state of the U.S. economy and the proximity to the coming U.S. holiday, the anniversary of it's declared day of independence of July 4th. The song is entitled, "4th Night", and seems to do precisely what they, my friends Claire, Page and Deb, always seem to do - make me think long and hard about the suffering of the world and then suddenly take stock in what beauty actually does surround me. The resulting, almost stealthily created involuntary smile is what I hope for any who would see themselves in this video.

I hope you'll take time to watch and listen, regardless of your nationality.

    Thanks to all of you.

    I greatly appreciate this forum.

    Fester,

I'll do my best. The girls just won an award last night for the video and may be hard to catch. I checked their website (www.hopeforagoldensummer.com) but couldn't find lyrics listed. I'll email them this evening.
