    Flooded

So I walked in to my office this morning and my entire corner of the office which houses my orders for pick up, orders on order, invoices, lensometer, computer, printer, etc was completely flooded. My feet are soaking wet and there is a huge mess to clean up!!!!! What a crappy day!

No, the floods worse. It's going to take a lot of hard work to clean up and get back to normal.

On the other hand, the Fezz mug is hopeless, and there's nothing to do but live with the horror!:shiner:

Don't worry. A few years ago I had an entire wholesale lab flood, ruined everthing except the lensometer.

I laugh to keep from crying lol!!! It's been really difficult to dispense today and make adjustments and everything else. Now I am in the market for a lensometer, new computer, printer, monitor oh the joy of it all.

    Sorry to hear about that.

Had two situations similar. A few years ago, in our old location, our landlord had apartments above us which were vacant. Well in Canada, vacant apartments have to be looked after. Mostly heating them. He had no heat in the bathroom and kept the door shut. The pipes froze and burst, flooding our whole store. We did not stay at that location too long after that.

At our new location, we had a minor annoyance. The Radioshack next door had a fire. The sprinklers went off. The water seeped through under the fire walls. Like I said, just an annoyance. We were smart enough to go with floor in the new store versus carpet. So it was just mopping up the water at 2am.

It can't be all that hopeless Donn keeps trying to hump his leg. ;) Floodign stinks I used to have to fight the snow plows in one location I worked, they would keep piling the snow so that it created a river that flowed right into our back door. Just remember this too shall pass.

It was a really nasty storm that caused the flooding. I live in the Pittsburgh area. There were funnel clouds and lightning galore and about five inches of rain all at once. This town is a mess right now!

driving home last night was a nightmare, the roads were under water at one point you couldn't tell the road from the median from the sidewalk.

We got hit pretty good in Ohio. We had our driveway under 9 inches of water, and our pond crested it's banks and ran into the pastures. Fortunately, most of it flowed into the stream by daylight.

You guys can send some rain down here. No rain in June yet, and 100 degrees every day.
