Canadian labs recommendations please

I'm tired of dealing with my actual lab for edging and mounting some of my jobs. Always something wrong. That's a well-known independant lab.

Could you please recommend me some good, reliable Canadian labs ?
Good prices are always welcome :bbg:
Or maybe elsewhere giving that I have no complications with customs or prohibitive transportation cost.

I live on the east side of Canada (Quebec).
A non-Essilor owned lab would be highly preferable.
Essilor owns almost everything here

Independant would be great but not mandatory.

I'm also open to remote tracing since I have a tracer.

I always used Perspectics out of Winnipeg, because I found it had the best selection, was the most reliable, and had the best service. Dealt with too much junk across the whole nation, that I just go to the best. It is an Essilor one, sorry, but to go with the best...

Volker Hues at Perspectics is simply the best lab man in Canada. Volker is a 'licensed optician" Nothing is too much trouble - AND - he knows, lives and breaths optics and lenses. He trains his work associates very well. Give him a try. He has always meet my expectations.

I agree, Volker knows his stuff, did specials with him when we were with Imperial.

Cannot deny that. Volker has been a partner of my family for years. I say partner, because with the service his lab provides to us, they work with us, not just to us.
