2 Weco Anchors, err, ahh, er, I mean pattern edgers 4-sale

Ok, I got two anchors that I want to clear out of my basement and garage.

1 Weco 2467 pattern edger
1 Weco 440 pattern edger

Both ran and were in use before I got them and put in storage/threw in the basement and garage. Do they run now? Who knows?

I may have some various finishing supplies and tools laying around as well.

Anybody interested?

Do you only have two?

The winters around here get pretty nasty, and what with the economy and all, a lot of folks can't afford a 4X4 pick 'em up truck, so the just fill their truck beds with bags of sand.

The recent floods has put the price of sand bags through the roof, so I was thinking that maybe I could add neon to the edgers, and have them permanently mounted to the beds. I think we could make a killing, but I'm going to need at least a few thousand of them to start out with, until the demand slacks off...

Sorry, I do not have the 2467 anymore. I had my daughter pay me for the chance to dismantle it piece by piece so she could get some experience in mechanical stuff.

I still have the 440 if anybody is interested. I had a fellow offer to buy it, but he keeps jerking around. I yanked it out of storage for him, and now I keep tripping over the damn thing while digging through the Fezz Wharehouse and Optical Emporium. If he doesn't come through soon, Mr. Sledgehammer is going to rough it up so I don't have to drag it back to its hiding place!

It would make one helluva paperweight!!!

The two Speede Blockers would make a elegant pair of romantic candle holders for the real optical enthusiast!

You may not know that Fezz's personal beliefs prohibit him from posting photos. However, he is a skilled craftsman, and will probably produce a carving in the likeness of the edger. If he still has it...which I don't think he does.

I still have an old green Shuron Continental 468 that I'll never part with. I've got a 440 that is set up only for running Hilco Zoom goggles (special square bevel). It's nice to have older machines, seems like the manual machines are much more forgiving and are somewhat easier to set up for the oddball jobs.

Diopter man, I've seen your place, and know that even if my friend Fezz still has it, it would take a lot of "jazzing up" before it could make it into your office...even if you do intend to use it as a doorstop!
