    Trilogy Impact Video?

    Hello Optiboarders,
I am trying to get an original copy of the high speed impact resistance test performed on Younger Trilogy lenses (Trivex). It is a black and white video of the impact test on CR-39, High Index, Polycarbonate, then Trilogy.

I know it can still be seen on youtube, but I was wanting to display it on a larger monitor and the resolution of the Youtube video stinks.

Younger no longer distributes this video, so they said I would need to find someone else's copy. Does anyone out there have a "copy" that I could "copy?"

Maybe I could just pay you to throw it on a DVD for me? Please PM me if you have any details.

    Thanks.

Try Googling 'Youtube downloader" and you can find programs that will download the original file from Youtube at the original resolution. Then you can burn it to a DVD.

I use Orbit Downloader, a freeware program. It will integrate easily into IE and Firefox.

Is this the video you're looking for?

    It's very short.

Here's a longer one but they're both in Spanish.

Optigrrl was nice enough to send me a CD with the Trivex videos and a Trivex Powerpoint presentation. There was a CRC error in the CR-39 video, but I was able to extract it and then join all the videos into one movie. I can put it on CD, Video CD or DVD. All I'd like is my cost recovered for disks and shipping.
Perhaps I can store it online for download, but if you want a DVD, let me know via PM.
