Eyemanflying ,sometimes I think you have been flying upside down too long above 10,000 feet and the oxygen is running a little low . Facebook is a good idea . Anything that will encourage dialog and communication can't be bad, now can it ?

Now give that flying machine a little aileron and flip it over wheel side down . That's it , a little rudder , lower the power setting , hold that descent rate and just squeak those wheels onto the pavement . Easy now , hop out , ... now it's my turn . I'll take it from here , now let me see .... Full throttle , a touch of rudder , mixture rich , do something with carb heat , oh yeah , brakes off now , hit the retro rocket booster switch , watch manifold pressures , Whoops sorry that was your blood pressure showing up on that dial ., Was I suposed to do something with the mags ? ..... turn left at the next cloud and plug in the gps , remember not to overfly their silly prisons again , dial in July 27 to August 2nd Wittman Regional Airport and head straight for Van's booth . WHOOOO WHOOOO

    AnD don't LAND THERE !!!! SH __ that's not a airstrip !!! That's the roof of the Airbus A380 http://www.airventure.org/news/2009/090415_airbus.html

Not bad! I actually had a chuckle...

Now...I only laugh because of how pathetic things have become that the OOA now has to reach out to its' members on Facebook. It is hilarious.

Bush league my friend and a 10 on the fromage scale.

    Social Networking

    Hi All
I'm new to Optiboard and the Canadian Discussion forum. It's good to meet you all. I have followed many of your posts for the last few weeks. From the limited marketing sessions I have taken - it seems as if many marketing gurus are encouraging organizations to turn to social networking to get the message out. Web sites require the audience to come to a static site, while Facebook, Twitter and others go to where the audience is, isn't it a good thing that the Ontario Association is proactive in this regard?

I would say so. It allows for interaction and discussion with its members.

    Welcome to OB.

    Vision Expo Social Networking

I think it's great that OOA's on Facebook.

International Vision Expo just launched a social networking campaign to keep you connected to the global vision community year-round. There's exclusive show updates and discounts.

Add all the major newspapers, "The Times of London", "the Telegraph", "the Los Angeles Times and even the good old "Globe and Mail". I guess the Ontario Opticians Association is well in with the mainstream of communications. Well done OOA.
