    National Karaoke Week!

    Woo hoo! National Karaoke Week starts April 26 and before the beer starts flowing and the singing begins, I was wondering what would be your favorite songs to shout out to the world?

    My favorite songs to sing while full of liquid courage are I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor and Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson. I did not say that I sang them well however :shiner:

    I do recognize that it is overplayed, but I do love "My Way," by Sinatra. I guess it is a little typical, but whatever. Some of my more popular ones have been:

    - Margarettaville by Jimmy Buffet
    - Bye Bye Bye by nsync
    - Amazed by Lonestar

    What I really want to do next time is 'Girl, you'll be a woman soon" by Neil Diamond. I think that one is rare, and can raise a few eyebrows.

    Over in Cut N Shoot Tx. there's a great little honky-tonk called the Stumble Inn. On karaoke night you'll hear;

    " There's a tear in my Beer cause I Lost my Underwear"

    " Peekin' through the Knothole in Grannies Wooden Leg"

    " Since you Bought the Waterbed, We've Slowly Drifted Apart"

    " I've Only got Eyes For You, But Look What I got For your Sister"

    " I'm so Miserable Without You, It's Like Havin' You Here"

    " C'mon Down Off the Stove Granny, You're too Old to Ride the Range"

    Of course, these are all popular songs, sometimes, someone will getup and sing something really unknown.

    :cheers:

    Dang 24, I used to live 2 miles east of Cut N Shoot! I can't believe I never saw you in there.
    A lack of planning on your part DOES NOT constitute an emergency on mine!

    That's cause last time you saw me I was in a suit. Goin' to fancy places (Like the Stumble Inn, Dolly's Pleasure Palace, or Sally's Ice House and Feed Store), I usually wear my dress overalls and John Deere cap...
