    question for Darryl

Darryl, twofold question, will you be at VEE in NY

ON any standard progressive as you go further down the + power increases, to the max as marked, what i,m wondering Darryl, as compared to say the average 75 to 80 mm blank, lets say thats marked + 2.50, if you were to increase that blank size , say to 100 mm, would the power keep on getting stronger and if not, why not

Harry, I will be at Lens Technical Committee meetings, prior to the actual show. I will also be in the exhibit hall on Friday morning, so please stop by to say "Hi" if you're around.

Regarding your progressive lens question, it really depends upon the lens design. In some lens designs, the addition power stabilizes and remains relatively constant. If it is a lens design based upon AO's bipolar patent, however, the lens design may actually reduce in addition power below the near reference point.
