Casket
Casket
A lack of planning on your part DOES NOT constitute an emergency on mine!
Would it be a casket/coffin?
A coffin? Dang you guys are quick!!
A casket??
You guys are good!
Okay:
He who makes it seeks to be rid of it.
He who uses it doesn't know it.
He who discovers it destroys it.
What is it?
A mistake?
Counterfeit money ???
Counterfeit money is the correct answer!
I am the beginning of the end, and the end of time and space. I am essential to creation, and I surround every place. What am I?

If I'm correct, although you are very common you are not found in land or air- but you are found right in the middle of the sea.
(Think I got it, but didn't want to give it away...)
The Letter "E"
:-)
Correct. :)
What always runs but never walks, often murmurs, never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a mouth but never eats?
Here's one for the weekend...
I can be this, and you can be this. And, yes, we can be this. He can't be this and she can't be this. And no, they can't be this. Dogs can't be this, but cats can. And a kitten can't be this, but a puppy can. Givers can't be this, but beggars can. And humility can't be this, but greed can. Not even peace can be this, but fear can.
What is "this?"
I'll give you one clue- I guarantee the answer is right in front of you! :)
What always runs but never walks, often murmurs, never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a mouth but never eats?
That would be a river.
I like riddles- hope some others post a few to keep the old grey matter excersized.
That has to be the hardest one yet.......... my brain hurts :hammer:
A Keyboard
When using a qwerty keyboard the right way.......as in the way it would be taught in a typing class. Each of the words that "can be this" are typed using only one hand. Puppy is typed using only the right hand, beggars is typed using only the left hand, and so on. The words that "can't be this" are typed using both hands. :shiner::shiner::shiner:
Very impressive, Sean! You are precisely right... That one gave me a headache too- especially since I didn't have a keyboard in front of me, and the person kept giving me examples of things that "were this" and things that "weren't this." (Which of course didn't help much.)
I only got it when she said "Basically, nothing that starts with 'q' will ever be this." (Although I think "qat" is a word that starts with "q".)
:)
Okay, here's a new one to fry your brain with...
A salesman is hired to sell a product in 48 states (excluding Hawaii & Alaska), but he is told he should maximize his efforts by only going through each state one time- and one time only. Assuming he starts in Texas and only enters each state one time, in what state will he finish?
Oh boy an easy one and everyones gone for the weekend giving me the chance to get one right ....Maine
Debt Crisis 2011: All the ostensible nobility in the world notwithstanding, we have run out of other people's money to spend.
Maine it is... its the only state which shares its borders with only one other state- so he's gotta end up somewhere near Bangor!
This is a most unusual paragraph. How quickly can you find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so ordinary you'd think nothing was wrong with it - and in fact, nothing is wrong with it. It is unusual though. Why? Study it, think about it, and you may find out. Try to do it without coaching. If you work at it for a bit it will dawn on you. So jump to it and try your skill at figuring it out. Good luck - don't blow your cool!
Hmm knew the answer but didn't see the post with the answer before replying... :)
Read carefully...
Marie, Claude, and Jean are in a competition. Here are their results:
1. The youngest person received the least points.
2. Claude got half of the points of the eldest.
3. Jean received as many points as both others combined.
Question:
Who is the eldest ?
Does the answer rhyme with "Magee"?;)
Si,
es Marie-
Mr. Magee.
