RE: Budget Free Form Progressives - Element and Succeed

Has anyone tried and compared the new budget Freeform lenses? Especially the new Shamir Element and Seiko Succeed?

I am looking for comparisions and feedback these lenses only.

    Thanks

No contest. In almost all case, prefer the Element. Any Comfort wearer LOVES the Element!

I've been fittin quite a bit of both. And, in the times I needed to correct Rxs or other issues, I've switched from Supercede to Element (not a fan of Succeed). Yes, You really can't separate out what made the client happy. But for the money, Supercede gets close to the cost of Auto II, so Element is a better * budget* lens for me.

We've been using the Seiko lenses as our go-to lenses. I haven't used the Element, so I can't compare, but I've had no, count-em, no non-adapts to the Succeed in the last 8 months. That seems like a pretty good measuring stick to me. I put my mother (Optician for 30 years) into a Supercede at 14mm, and she loves em.

I prefer a pair of Crossbows 14 that I bought from a Chinese company. Wonderful, like them almost as much as my Autograph II.
