Judy underwent knee surgery last Tues. I was going to post a get well message at that time but I didn't want to upset the apple cart (Some folks don't want anyone to know those sort of things)
BUT Now I've seen it in print by her own hand so I guess it's OK!

Get Well Soon Judy!....and be sure to do everything the physical therapist from hell tells you !

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and wishes. I continue to be amazed that such a nice young woman could inflict such pain and keep smiling. I wonder if PT's drink as much as Opticians.

They don't need to. They can vent their frustrations on the patients. It's a bit like being mugged - you get beaten up and all your money is taken.

Yep, they sure do put on a good front, don't they! Keep your spirits up, and just remember, the stronger your knee gets, the better you'll be able to kick that PT's butt when your all done! :D

**please note, no PT's were harmed in the typing of this message...really, I love PT's, just not when I'm sitting on their table! :D

Finished with in-home physical therapy
Start physical therapy at their office on Tuesday, that means I can drive!!!

Staples are gone as are the dressings.
Took a shower...YAY!!!!

Still walking with a walker, but graduating to a cane shortly.

Still using some pain meds, but hope to trade them for a good single malt next week. :D

Accomplished this much in 10 days! Whew. :shiner:

Thanks for all your good thoughts, I know that they made a real difference. :bbg:

Yeah, Fezz will carry you around on his back. Just make sure when you get tipsy, you're exactly opposite of him so you tipsy to offset him.:bbg:

Break a leg, Judy! Um, I mean- unbreak a leg (and enjoy the un-Expo... I'll be sitting this one out)! Hope all continues to go well with your recovery.

Pretty amazing how those new joints work, isn't it? You're a walking miracle of science & technology!

We can rebuild her, we have the technology... we can make her stronger, faster... (cue the Steve Austin "wah-wah-wah-wah" sound effect). Gees, now I feel old remembering my old $6,000,000 Man lunchbox! (I don't think $6m would go quite as far today...)

I just returned from my first physical therapy appointment. The only thing more painful than riding a bike today...at least the only thing that I can think of...was delivering my last child. THANK THE UNIVERSE FOR PAIN MEDS!!! I have to do this again on Friday morning.

I am going to take a nap with an ice pack...on my knee.
