A lack of planning on your part DOES NOT constitute an emergency on mine!
Turnin' out the lights...
Hangin' up my sign...
Lockin' up the door...
Headin' home...
Loadin' up the car...
Kissin' babies and hubby...
Drivin' like the wind!!
See you guys (and gal) around 6!

Ophthalmic Optician
Society to Advance Opticianry
If anything happens that falls within Steve's posting guidelines this weekend, I will update the Board!
Soooo, we shouldn't expect to see anything then????
This is one of the best "meetings" I've been to in years! The accumulated knowledge and experience sitting around the table is awesome. The beverages are great, the humor is...well, what you would expect from optical folk and we even have commemorative beer glasses (thanks to Bob) !
Glad everyone is having fun. I'm working on Version 1.2 for next year.
Do we need to start an OPTI-BAIL fund yet???
Would someone please let me know which hotel!
I have been driving around trying to find this event for the last four days!
Ok, ok, I'll be serious for a minute or two.
The weekend was AWESOME.
I am not sure how better to explain it. It really was AWESOME. It was everything that I had hoped.....but even better! I still can not believe how fast time flew by. I am humbled by the knowledge, and willingness to share that knowledge and experience, of those that came. Truly AWESOME! Conversations flowed more easily than the ale that I tried to drink!
Thanks again to all who came and shared. I am so grateful and feel honored to have been part of it!
The Revolution has begun!

It has taken a day or two to process the information from this fabulous weekend.
Thanks to Acuity Eyewear, Sutro and Capri for allowing us to preview and evaluate your products. Thanks to iCare Labs and iCoat for the goodies and the meals.
Most importantly, thanks to all of my friends who gathered in Richmond to share valuable insights, honest opinions and bold ideas to further our practices and our professions. It was my great pleasure to learn from not only the best and brightest, but to have a glimpse of the future of the profession and industry that I love.
See you next year, if not sooner!
