    First Grandchild is here!

    James Lucas Schafer born at St. Pete General on March 10 at 1:52 pm, 8lbs 6oz and 22 inches long....Baby, mom and dad are doing fine..grandpa and grandma are on cloud 9..aunts and uncles are too

    He's adorable. Hope you get to see him a lot and develop a great relationship with him. Grandchildren are truly a blessing. We have 5 and the first was a boy. The rest are girls.

    Thank you everyone! Baby and mom go home today and his dad was busy doing the last details of the nursery. They decided not to find out the sex of the baby until it was born so my son is adding blue trim and manly stuff to the decor.

    Yes, I will get him a hand tool set once his motor skills are up and running...and definitely no Yankee gear! James will be influenced with mainly Rays gear with a touch of Indians and Cubs to satisfy his dna urgings.

    JR, I will look for cigars to bring to the VC meetings!
