    Acuity Optical frame lines

Does anyone use this company's "Free Form Eyewear" and care to share an opinion?

Our lab has been supplying Free Form Eyewear for 4 years and it has been one of our most frequently requested and durable frame lines. The compression mounts are good quality and we never have a problem with loosening or inconsistent fits. We especially love the new Free Form RBT Ex and Ex-Wides and have put in a full stock of all their lines based on our terrific experience with Acuity. Please feel free to email me if you'd like more information.

    Thumbs up

Acuity Optical was kind enough to send their complete line to the First Annual Un-Expo for our review.

We were very favorably impressed with the entire line, but especially the RBT FreeForm mountings. The colors and shapes are very marketable and of course the pricing is about half of comparable products. Our only concern was that the posts on the compression mount appeared to soldered on rather than made as a single piece. We felt that it might lead to some breakage. Overall, we gave the line very high marks for style, colors, shapes and price.

View the line at www.acuityeyewear.com and www.freeformeyewear.com.

On a personal note, I have a pair of the original groove mount and the compression mount and have been very satisfied with the performance and comfort of both.

I have a pair of the Free Form Ti-Plate groove mount at the lab edging as I type this. I can't wait to see how my -6.00 looks in this frame.

I will be trying a brand new frame along with the Shamir Autograph FreeForm Single Vision lenses.

This is further improved by applying laser welding rather than traditional soldering on the posts, since some 6 months ago. Acuity Optical is offering life warranty on all manufacturing defects ever since.

I have ten of them in stock now. Not too many bites on them yet, but they're getting attention. The one thing I noticed on them was their penchant for showing fingerprints on the frames. Maybe a coating on the frame would help?

    Acuity

We've been using the Acuity products for a good amount of time now and have had really good luck with them. The company is very easy to work with, price point is really great (especially when you stack it up to other similar things on the market), quality is very good, and our rep Keith is great!!!

    Great work George!

I have been wearing my new FreeForm Ti-Plate frame for about 5 hours now and have gotten about a dozen compliments on the frame. It is very light and incredibly comfortable. The doctor is so impressed that she is bringing in the line.

    Keep up the great work!!!!

Love the orange temple inserts! Hook'em Horns!!!!
