Smooth Jazz suggestions needed...

I was searching around and have seen a few posts that indicated that some of you like smooth jazz...

I would love some suggestions on CD's, artists or collections, to look for. We have a radio station that plays smooth jazz most of the day, but there are times when they break-in with "talk" radio, and I'd like to be able to put on a CD during that time.

Hey, that's neat! I just got on that site and typed in Harry Connick Jr. and it's playing right now! This will be a great way to explore the artists before I buy anything!

Nora Jones is awesome...great voice! You know, I saw her do a little "gig" on Sesame Street one morning with the kids...she sat at her piano and sang a song with Elmo! Cutest thing I've ever seen! :):D:) You know you've made it big when you get invited to Sesame Street...I wonder if they have an optical shop there??? Hmmmm...LOL!:D

You might like the soft electronic jazz of Air, but they also have a lot of rather raucous tunes. John Mayall has some nice jazz-blues fusion songs (particularly off his Stories Album), Bob James has some nice stuff. On her new CD, Renee Olstead has a few very nice smooth songs along with some quick boogies.
