    Thanks for the card, Harry- and thanks for all the birthday wishes!

    After celebrating 40 last year, 41 is a piece of cake (hmmm, actually there's been no cake yet- but I usually get a German Chocolate with Coconut icing from the daughter, so it may be waiting when I arrive back home).

    I thought you might appreciate this:

    My son (11 yr) gave me a homemade card this morning that had a picture of an American flag on the outside, with the words, "A change we can believe in..." on the front.

    I looked at him out of the corner of my eye and he was just grinning.

    On the inside of the card it said, "Your Birthday!", with another flag w/my age on it.

    For a minute, I was afraid I was going to have to put him up for adoption!:bbg:

    Hmmm, I haven't looked 20 in, well... 21 years!

    This will be my 20th year in the ophthalmic biz- hard to believe!

    Thanks again for the birthday wishes... I'm trying to ignore birthdays from here on out! ;)

    Fortunately, my wife turns 42 in a month- so she's always a year ahead!
