There wouldn't have been any negative feedback had the phrase "...were for a Beuty Supply chain..." been posted. Just not something you see everyday, and when we are competing against such places for contact lens sales, then it just brings out the worst in us (me).

I am actually trying to negotiate a deal since our office carries Gucci, and I think it is a fair one with no warranty and no choice in the selection of models I think my offer is fair. I'll be honest I think I probably would offer more to an office that din't try to go outside our industry and make a quick buck, but that's the risks you take in business some times you win some times you lose, the point is I am willing to take his loss on as a risk but I won't pay cost for it and I think my offer is fair, of course brother Fezz countered with $23.33 so I would counter with my final offer of $25.

Oh by the way here's a tip, the rule of thirds. I will consistently try to get things for the most a third of their costs when someones liquidateingm I would never pay full price otherwise I would expect as you would call them, the good old boys to give me a good punch in the gut. Hoep you stick aroudn and learn something from these old geezers, they may not look good but they'll get your mind right when it comes to business.

My first post was to ask for help with a older edger, all I received was jokes on how to put in the lens and turn it on . I started in this business in 1964 most of you were not born yet, I found your actions and replies insulting and rude, time to smarted up and treat this site like the way it should be, to help , not to make fun of people. I see your point(s), and have talked with others that experienced the same treatment. Actually, most of us did. Think of it as your initiation. My first post ever was to try to sell 10,000 nosepads. I got ripped up one side and down the other. Everyone said they were overpriced and so on... I thought it was pretty funny, but I backed off from outright selling for awhile until I got more comfortable with this whole board thing. You've got to hope for the best and expect the worse.

I guess if you really want to be the policeman, you can, but you're going to have to buy your own uniforms! (oh, and check your gun and you bullet;) at the door , a lot of folks around here are kinda "funny" about firearms. Not all, just some..."
