Does anyone currently use DBL Laboratories out of Minnesota? If so, what are your thoughts on turnaround time and quality of work. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Eryn, We have been using DBL for about 15 months. They have been the most consistent in quality and turnaround. Have used Omega, Legends and Hoya Dallas in the past and none have been as good. They are also very good about calling with questions if any arise. Excellent customer service, like Legends was.
We have been using DBL for the last 3 years and have been, for the most part very pleased. Like any other lab they have had their occasional downturns but they have not lasted very long nor adversely affected our practice.
In terms of turn around they can be VERY fast depending on what you order. I have received Alize coated progressives from them within 48 hours of order in the past. For other things, like Physio 360 or Avance coated lenses they have to send these to Omega in Dallas so the wait for those items is the normal 5-10 working days.
We have started to make the shift to the newer lenses here and I've found my favorite of them, Autograph II, takes significantly longer than normal though. Sometimes as much as 2-3 weeks for them to receive the surfaced lens, not accounting for coating and finishing.
All in all though, DBL has been a good lab for us, their customer service has always been pretty good and if you do enough volume their re-do policy is pretty stellar on complete jobs.
We use them as our main lab.
