    Alternative to Face-a-Face

I love the Face-a-Face frames... and have called their main US office 3 times, the rep twice, but I have never received a return phone call to see about bringing the line in. I guess they don't want to add accounts.

So... I need another line that is funky like Face-a-Face and retails at price higher than Kate Spade or ProDesign. I already have ProDesign and its our top line, but I am looking for a funky line that is a different look.

It has to be semi exclusive, and have both men's and women's models.

Any suggestions besides LaFont and Koali (both sold near us)?

Got a catalogue from Silver Dollar today with a thier "Black Eye" collection, designed for the "Ink Culture" whatever that is, perhaps tattooed people.
In any event it's sho' funky.
And I guess you can sell it for whatever you can get for it.

Careful putting in too much tattoo product. It was inspired by the clothing line that came out a few years ago. The time limit on this trend is about up. That marketed age group is fickle after all.

I would look at Etnia Barcelona for something in terms of comparing color and design. They are still a lower price point than a Face A Face. Also, J.F. Rey is pretty funky, but in my opinion a little edgier than FAF, but have a higher price point like them.

Etnia was a little weak at launch 2 years ago and have not seen them since, have they improved?

Also JF Rey has some possibilities... contacted them for more info.. Thanks.

Etnia has had a good run with us to date and we have had them for about two years. I like them because the profit margin is good if you don't have a lot of competition carrying it. From my experience the customer service is good in regards to little to no backorders, returns and exchanges are fair. I like the product quality and selection.

JF Rey rocks...our rep is the nicest person and the product is cool. It's pretty edgy stuff, but we are really enjoying having it in our boutique! Let me know what you think if you look at it.

I have never heard of face-o-face and couldn't find them on an internet search.
We like Fysh and Kliik which compare to the other brands mentioned here.

I too liked Kliik, but also sold nearby.. :( I saw Fysh at VE Vegas a couple of years ago and they looked promising but the quality seemed one step down.

Thanks for the suggestions... its along the lines I am looking for.

We looked at FaF about a year ago. The $8k minimum initial put us off.

I would agree, but its hard to carry a line when I can't get a return phone call after 5 tries.

    Thanks for the link Nick.
I fell in love with the Elvis in brown prism. Has anyone see that one in person? Just wondering if it looks as good as the pic.
