No lunch breaks, no bathrooms at many locations, you work alone 90% of the time, to earn commisions and bonuses you must meet unreasonable goals, you are required to protect expensive, unsecured merchandise from shoplifters while working alone with multiple customers at once and can be fired if your shrink percentage is higher than 4% two inventory cycles in a row. You often work off the clock writing action plans and answering emails from home and if you edit your time to compensate yourself for working at home, you risk being fired for time card fraud. Managers are given little training and no payroll hours to support the day to day operations of a store so it is difficult to maintain morale..which is why the turnover rate is so high.
