For those who may still doubt Maui Jim FF technology

    Look at this:

    Rx:

    R -0.50 -2.75 x 100
    L -0.75 -2.00 x 80

I ordered Maui Jim SV "Passport" (aka, optimized free-form wrap) in 1.6 index Evolution.

Their data entry accidentally entered it as conventional, i.e., non-optimized. Made as written.

Tried to dispense the first, non-optimized as a loaner. "Whoa! NG!! Can't wear this at all".

Maui Jim, to their credit, immediately acknowledge the error, and remade the eyewear in two days.

The client just came in today to pick them up, optimized Passport style. He had a little trepidation, based on the already-explained "loaner".

His comment: "These are GREAT!" No Problem! See ya!"

    FWIW

Another plus for Shamir. I have dispensed several of them, SV and PAL, and everyone loves them.
A lack of planning on your part DOES NOT constitute an emergency on mine!

    ??

Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the Passport a slightly tweaked version of the Autograph or the Autograph Two?

Good to hear that it is getting positive reviews.

Another positive here for the MJ lenses - although we've not had any problems at all with their "original" designs either. For the money, their quality of optics, visual clarity, warranty (2 years on Rx) and customer service have been second to none. The new Passport digital lenses just add to an already impressive product offering.
