I found an e950 (brand new) with blocker and tracer for less than 10k. Anyone know the history of these DIA edgers?? What would be a steal on this? Looks really nice but unfamiliar territory.

One of the big problems with DIA edgers is parts availability. The closest distributor that I can find on their website is in South America. There are some features that should be copied by other manufacturers, but with the DIA/Takubomatic being relatively unknown in the US they will probably never be seen.

This line of edgers was sold through Nassau Lens Co. under the name Labtech. I was looking at their product seriously, but I was concerned about parts and service.

This is their North American website. I talked with them at VEE . I'd give them a serious look if you are not getting an edger that drills in chamber. You can even reblock an edged lens to be touched .
    Money carefully refunded
