Hi everyone!. Not sure if this is the right forum for this question.
I have done some r&d into MF lens manufacturing and have finally cracked the problem of the narrow corridor.
http://www.i-optic.com/wide.jpg
I have just released a lens which was based on research done some years ago. The above link will take you to our trial selling of this design. But since then, I have fine-tuned it to near full width intermediate and reading.
I have had some interesting results already. One patient suffered from central vision loss. Still a young man- he had to work to support his family etc... so I tried this electrician with our wide design and bingo! He was able to look past the central vision loss and saw quite clearly, due to the super wide corridor. The there are the usual computing problems and the nagging head turning/stiff neck issues and pheripheral sway issues etc... So I think this lens type may be useful and could become a MF category killer produt.
Anyhow, my current research is much more advaned then the above release and I need some idea on how to best commericialise my lates research.
R&D was and is quite expensive, but nothing when compared to the commercialisation process. So... all clues/suggestions welcome :)
best regards
ROb
